I’ve been a storyteller for as long as I can remember. Before photography, it was poems in the margins of notebooks and stories scribbled late at night, always trying to hold onto the moments of life that made me feel something. I grew up surrounded by cameras, home videos, old prints tucked into albums, and I still feel that same pull toward memory. I could watch my grandparents’ 1961 Super 8 wedding film on repeat and never get tired of it. There’s something about grain, nostalgia, and moments of connection that feels like magic to me.

I’m based in Northern Ontario, where the air is cold, the forests are endless, and the light can hit like a movie still. I'm a bit coffee obsessed, ride shotgun on my husband’s motorcycle any chance I get, and will absolutely hike somewhere questionable for good light.
I'm equal parts grounded and restless. Passionate, a little nerdy, slightly stubborn, and spontaneous. If you have a wild idea, I’m in. If you want something quieter and deeply personal, I’m in for that too.

WHAT SHAPES MY PHOTOGRAPHY
Connection & Emotion
At the heart of every photograph is emotion. The quiet moments, the laughter, the nerves, the way two people look at each other when they forget the camera is there. Those fleeting, unguarded moments are often the ones that matter most. My approach is rooted in observation rather than control, allowing real interactions to unfold naturally so the images reflect who you truly are. Because the most meaningful photographs aren’t just beautiful, they feel honest.
Creativity & Art
Creativity is the foundation of everything I do. Photography, for me, is more than documenting what happens. It’s about seeing moments through an artistic lens and shaping them into imagery that feels intentional, expressive, and alive. I’m constantly drawn to light, movement, texture, and composition in ways that push beyond the expected. Whether it’s experimenting with film, embracing dramatic light, or framing a moment differently, creativity allows each image to feel unique, personal, and thoughtfully crafted.
Nostalgia & My Life
Nostalgia has always shaped the way I see the world. I grew up around film long before digital photography existed, watching moments be captured on rolls that later returned as tangible memories. Because of that, photography has never felt disposable to me. Even before I had the words for it, I remember feeling that quiet pull of nostalgia, the sense that a moment could already feel like a memory while it was still happening.
Film remains a part of my work for that reason. Its grain, softness, and imperfections carry a warmth that digital often can’t replicate. But more than anything, my love for photography is shaped by the people closest to me. The love I have for my husband, my son, and the people in my life reminds me how fleeting and meaningful our time together is, and that perspective is what drives me to preserve moments for my clients, in a way that feels honest, lasting, and deeply human.
Atmosphere & Surroundings
Atmosphere is what transforms a photograph into something immersive. The way light falls through a window, the wind moving through a veil, the quiet stillness of a landscape just before sunset. These elements shape the mood of an image and help tell a deeper story. I’m always paying attention to the environment surrounding a moment, using light, space, and movement to create photographs that feel cinematic and full of depth, as though they belong to a larger narrative.

I’m drawn to beautiful places & landscapes and people who do things their own way. I'll forever be inspired by light, connection, and stories that don’t follow the usual path.
