Kayley + Colin — Winter Woods Engagement Session in Sudbury




Kayley and Colin made the trip from Ottawa to Sudbury for their engagement session, and honestly… the timing couldn’t have been more interesting.


We shot their entire session in this calm, quiet winter setting, and then about an hour after we wrapped, a massive record breaking storm rolled through Northern Ontario. So we basically caught that perfect window right before everything hit.


Their session was super laid-back, just the way I like it. No pressure, no over-posing, just letting things happen naturally. These two have a really effortless connection. The kind where you don’t have to force anything, it’s just there.


They’re also not afraid to be a little goofy with each other, which I love. It keeps things real. The laughs weren’t staged, the moments weren’t stiff… it was just them being them, and you can feel that in the photos. There’s a lot of ease between them, but also something deeper that comes through without needing to try.


It was such a pleasure having them in front of my camera.


They’re tying the knot this October at Science North, and I’m genuinely so excited for it. It feels like the perfect fit for them, and if their engagement session is anything to go off of, their wedding day is going to be such a good one.
