Talia + Max — Maternity Session in Sudbury
I first met Talia and Max last summer for a couples session with their motorcycles, so when they reached out about doing their maternity session, I was obviously so excited.
Getting to document a completely different season for the same couple always hits a little different.
This session had the best kind of energy… cozy, moody, and really intimate.
We leaned into a more in-home feel for this one, with the fireplace setting the tone the entire time. That warm glow, soft textures, and a slower pace made everything feel super relaxed and natural. Nothing rushed, nothing overdone. Just a quiet kind of connection.
These two have such an easy dynamic together. It’s calm, grounded, and really genuine. The way Max looks at Talia, the way she settles into him… it’s subtle, but it says everything. No big performances, just real moments.
And honestly, the setting just amplified all of it. The fire, the warmth, the stillness… it gave the whole session this moody, almost cinematic feel without trying too hard.
That’s always the sweet spot.
Maternity sessions like this are less about posing and more about feeling. That in-between season before everything changes. Talia carried that so effortlessly. Strong, soft, completely present in it.
It was such a relaxed session, a mix of quiet moments and a bit of playfulness, and it all came together in a really natural way.
Talia + Max, this one felt like you. 🖤
